The Perm-A-Steel Filter features layers heavy-duty steel media, which has a long history of dependable performance in demanding applications. This metal filter’s layers of expanded galvanized steel offer a ‘light’ version of our Steel Smith Filter.
It consists of multiple layers of galvanized expanded material, assembled in alternating layers to assure maximum filtering and internal loading capabilities.
The media is enclosed in a lightweight galvanized frame, mitered and secured at one corner by rivets. Designed as a less expensive option for air applications such as make up air roof top units in industrial, commercial, restaurants, schools, and office buildings where a washable filter is recommended.
